 Meet our Talent Partners.

Looking for your next Talent opportunity?

Meet our Leadership Team.

  • Kevin Kinkor [Co-Founder and CEO]

Kevin has more than 20 years of experience as a Talent/HR professional in the Silicon Valley. He started his career on the agency side of recruiting through the Dot Com boom and subsequent bust, managed workforces through the Great Recession and has played a key role with startups during this most recent surge of hiring. His experiences prior to starting Kinkor Consulting includes building out recruiting for Facebook when they were a midsize company, establishing Pandora’s (Internet Radio) recruiting function to scale growth, and starting from blueprint on BrightEdge’s hiring plan to hiring over 275 employees.

On occasion, he’s been known to compete in Ironman length triathlons and to be a pretty cool dad.

  • Katie McSweeny Kinkor [Co-Founder & COO]

Katie brings nine years of global experience supporting executive teams in recruiting and other operational functions. She has been instrumental in developing the foundation of Kinkor Consulting as well as directly working with our top clients.

Prior to co-founding Kinkor Consulting, Katie spent over a decade living, working, and traveling abroad. Highlights from this time include receiving her MA in International Relations from the University of Limerick in Ireland, beginning her career in Doha, Qatar and visiting more than 50 countries. These days, Katie spends her free time chasing after her young children, planning her family's next getaway, reading and exploring the great outdoors.

  • Chris Hodge [Director of Business Development]

Chris has a decorated career in sales and is a stalwart community builder in the recruiting arena, sitting on the Board of Directors for the San Francisco-based nonprofit The Recruiters Association (TRA) and building and managing his own Talent roundtable and Slack community (Talent Thought Talk).

Chris started his career at a startup with roots dating back to his undergrad days at UC Davis; as a result, he can personally relate and is empathetic to the challenges, quandaries and quagmires of startup life. Always happy to network in the startup and venture communities or talk recruiting tips, tricks, advice, etc over a cup of coffee or a pint of craft beer, Chris can most likely be found in the bleachers at an SF Giants game, at a concert or hiking in the hills around the East Bay.

  • Nolan Cox [Director of Business Operations]

Nolan brings over a decade of experience working at high-growth startups. He first developed a passion for teaching others as a Lifeguard Instructor, and further built upon that passion during college as a professor and competitive debate coach. Most recently, he has been instrumental in building and training multiple domestic and international recruiting teams to meet the increasing demands of the global talent market.

When he’s not working, Nolan can be found camping throughout the West Coast, hiking around Mt. Tamalpais, skiing, or running along the beach with his German Shepherd.

  • Emily Rogers [Director of Learning & Development]

Emily began her career working in non-profit and higher ed organizations, focusing on increasing access to education and career development for young people throughout Boston by raising awareness and funding at local and national levels. She then pivoted her skills as a people connector and joined the bustling community of tech startups to focus on building teams for software solutions and AI advancement. Whether in recruiting, talent branding, recruiting operations, or employee engagement, Emily strives to enhance communication and efficiency in an effort to build transparent and supportive workplaces.

As Head of Learning & Development at Kinkor Consulting, Emily continues to help professional communities grow by providing training around all things Talent. She loves connecting with new people, whether through client trainings or backpacking through Patagonia (pre-Covid, of course!), and is always ready to swap wine recommendations with anyone she meets along the way.
